A RIGHT NOW RAIN

 

Hosea 10:12

“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”


Today was filled with rain and wind.

Windshield wipers swishing.

Headlights on.


Single raindrops falling together.

Such loud pitter patter.

Huge puddles gathering.


Beneath it all something is growing.

Just as beneath “the all of it” we grow.

A right now rain.

The righteousness of God.


He waters us with mercy.

He replenishes our soul with grace.

He rains down blessings.

Planted by the Lord.


Continue Lord to shower us with both sunshine and rain.

We know both are necessary

Right now….rain

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
