TILL WE MEET AGAIN

Ecclesiastes 3:1   “To every  thing there is  a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Eleven years ago, at the end of December. I remember writing about “going up the blog steps.” Today I have a new assignment. I am not sure of what all it entails. The Holy Spirit has shown me only in part… At the Lord’s direction, I am  “going down the blog steps.”  Today is the last entry. Tysthatbind… I thank God for this part of my life’s journey.  Thank you for sharing in it with me. I praise God for the next chapter. I trust Him to direct “what’s next.” “Blessed be the ties that bind our hearts in Christian love. The fellowship of kindred minds is like to that above.”🎶 God be with you till we meet again. Sis. GIFT WRAPPED

1 Peter 1:8 “Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see  him  not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:”  Joy to the world the Lord is come. 🎶 Christmas time is here. May the joy of the season bless your heart each day of the year. May your mind overflow with peace, May your heart be showered with mercy.  May your path be guided by grace. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE STAR STILL SHINES

Matthew 2:10   “When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.”  The star still shines. Just as the wise men sought Jesus and were led to him by the light of a star, the Light still shines today. Those who seek the Lord will be found of Him.  Jesus is. He is… The Light of the World. In spite of the turmoil, the trouble, and darkness that surrounds,  the Light still shines.  Throughout history, suffering has appeared insurmountable.  Oppression, persecution, poverty and distress, have impacted lives in unimaginable ways. Yet, the Bible teaches us that where sin did abound,  grace did much more abound. Grace came at Christmas.  Emmanuel.  God with us.  Grace in the person of Jesus Christ, to save from sin.  Jesus. The Star.  He is the Bright and Morning Star. Forever.  He shall shine.  God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

GIFT AND GIVER

John 3:16   “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”     “Gift and Giver”         by - sdktyus @2023 No greater gift has ever been given,  No greater present has ever appeared underneath a Christmas tree,  than the baby who was wrapped and laid in a manger, and later died on on Calvary. Jesus, Only Begotten of the Father.   Jesus Our Savior, the Faithful and True. Jesus the Way, the Truth, the Life.  Jesus, behold He makes all things new. Jesus humble in nature.  Jesus once human yet always divine.  Jesus who willingly laid down His life as a ransom for all mankind. Jesus, a Gift freely given.  Jesus.  He is salvation to all who receive Him and believe.  Jesus.  He is Lord of Lord.  He is King of Kings.  All tongues will one day confess and all will bend their knees. Jesus.  The greatest gift ever given.  Jesus Christ.  He is Christmas.  He is the love that wraps our hearts.  He is

HERE WE ARE AGAIN

Philippians 4:4   “Rejoice in the Lord alway:  and again  I say, Rejoice.” Today. Here we are again. It is another day to rejoice.  Another opportunity has presented itself.  We are hopeful. We have a chance to look up.  We can focus on the blessing.  We can choose.  We can do it with the help of God   We do not need to do this on our own. The joy of the Lord, this is our strength.  He will not leave us. We can depend on God. Timeless. Unchanging. God. Here we are again. We have come this far by faith. We are trusting in His Word.  We will not turn around. Here we are again. Still praying and praising the Lord. We are thankful to be here, again. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

GOOD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY

Luke 2:1-20 💫✨🌟💫✨🌟💫✨🌟💫✨🌟 1And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. 2  (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) 3  And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. 4  And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) 5  To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. 6  And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. 7  And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. 8  And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9  And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round ab

CHRIST , CHRIST, THE LORD

Matthew 1:18 “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.” I don’t know the date of Jesus birth. But, I know that He was born.  How do I know?  The Bible tells me so. I don’t know the date Jesus died on the cross.   But, I know that He did.  How do I know? The Bible tells me so. I don’t know the date He rose from the grave.  But I know He did. How do I know? The Bible tells me so. December 25 is a day set aside to acknowledge the birth of Christ.  Knowing that He was given, as a gift from His Father God,  What a blessing. Jesus Christ was born and dwelt among us as declared by the scriptures.  Faithful to the Word of God, He shed His blood on the cross for the remission of sins. The Word of God declares that He died and rose again with all power in His hands.  He conquered death and the grave. He was born.  He died.  He rose. When the lights shine. When the carol

FOR EACH BREATH

Psalms 150:6   “Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.” I am thankful for each breath. Some days when asthma is acting up I am especially mindful of each breath I take.  I inhale Thank you and exhale Jesus. I do this over and over again. When I cannot say it I keep thinking it over and over   Thank you. Jesus. Jesus I thank you. I thank you Jesus over and over again. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

DESPITE THE WEATHER

Job 37:6   “For he saith to the snow, Be thou  on the  earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.” Snowflakes… Small rain… Great rain… All “fall” at God’s command. He says“let there be”and it is so. Outside my window tonight the wind is howling and snow is blowing. The cold is bitter. The songwriter penned words detailing the Great Faithfulness of God: “Summer and winter, springtime and harvest; sun, moon and stars in their courses above, join with all nature in manifold witness to Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.” Whatever the weather, despite the temperature, in the midst of the rising and falling tides of life,     God is forever faithful. He is in control. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

JUST! GREAT! JUST GREAT

Psalms 48:1   Great  is the  LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God,  in  the mountain of his holiness.” Just. Great.  Just Great. I have thought and listened and kept landing on these words this evening, God He is Great. There has never been  There is not  There will never be one greater  than the  Omnipresent  Omnipotent  Omniscient  Great God.  He is Just  He is Great  Just Great! God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

PERSONALLY

Psalms 116:8 “For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears,  and  my feet from falling.” It is personal. This walk with the Lord. The relationship with Jesus Christ, it is personal. The fellowship with the Holy Spirit,  it is personal. He has delivered my soul from death. He has both wiped and recorded my tears. He has and continues to keeps my feet from falling. Personally. I praise Him for the opportunity to walk in the light of His glory in the land of the living… Personally. He is Wonderful. He is Great. He is Mighty. He is All Powerful. He is Lord. Jesus. I am so glad to know Him. Personally.  God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie
