GIFT AND GIVER

 

John 3:16

 

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

No greater gift has ever been given, 

No greater present has ever appeared underneath a Christmas tree, 

than the baby who was wrapped and laid in a manger,

and later died on on Calvary.

Jesus, Only Begotten of the Father. 

 Jesus Our Savior, the Faithful and True.

Jesus the Way, the Truth, the Life. 

Jesus, behold He makes all things new.

Jesus humble in nature.

 Jesus once human yet always divine.

 Jesus who willingly laid down His life as a ransom for all mankind.

Jesus, a Gift freely given. 

Jesus. 

He is salvation to all who receive Him and believe. 

Jesus. 

He is Lord of Lord. 

He is King of Kings. 

All tongues will one day confess and all will bend their knees.

Jesus. 

The greatest gift ever given. 

Jesus Christ. 

He is Christmas.

 He is the love that wraps our hearts.

 He is the light that shines upon our journey. 

He is Holy One.

 Gift and Giver.

Jesus.

 How Great Thou Art.

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
