Psalms 147:4

“He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names.”

I am fascinated by the stars in the sky.

The sparkling little lights are so beautiful.

Of all the Christmas decorations,

lights are my favorites.

I especially like the white lights.

White lights, reminders of the stars.

The wise men followed a star and it led them to Jesus.

Jesus, the Bright and Morning Star.

I wonder if stars are sometimes considered less important because they are so tiny.

The sun shines.

The moon glows.

And the stars, well, they are magnificent in their twinkling.

The Bible tells us that God counts them.

He calls them all by their names.

Likewise, He recognizes each of our “lights”shining in a dark world.

Let us continue to twinkle.

Let us rise and sparkle.

Let us show up and glow.

Let us keep on letting our little lights shine.

Each one of us “counts”to God.

He knows each of us by name.
