Hebrews 13:5-6King James Version (KJV)
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Dear Friends,
In order to content with what we have, it is necessary to focus on our blessings. It is really true that we are able to soar to new heights with an "attitude of gratitude." Much time is wasted by those who have sown seeds of jealousy and discord rather than choosing to sow seeds of encouragement and rejoicing in the success and blessings of others.
True contentment is rooted in a steadfast trust and faith in God. It is grounded in the trust that He will provide for our needs according to His riches in glory.
(Philippians 4:19)
"Contentment is cultivated by pulling the weeds of greed and by building your life on God and His promises."
My brother and sisters, cultivate contentment. Build your life on God's promises.
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
