Psalm 57:1-3King James Version (KJV)
57 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast.
2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
Dear Friends,
Calamities. We are living in a time when calamities surround us. Severe trouble, devastating events, unheard of atrocities, these are calamities. In the midst of all of the sorrow we seek God's mercy.
We take refuge in the mercy and grace which are the wings of God. The Holy Spirit Our Comforter shields us from storms of life.
We cry to God not just for ourselves but for our neighbors near and far. We seek His peace for those we know and those we do not.
We cry to God for there is no other Help we know.
He Alone is able to save, defend and deliver.
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
