O Lord! How Great Thou Art! - Psalm 104:1

"Bless the Lord, O my soul.  O Lord my God, thou art very great, thou art clothed with honour and majesty."  Psalm 104:1

The songwriter penned: "Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee. How Great Thou Art.  How Great Thou Art."

When the soul sings hearts are made glad.  A singing soul does not require even that you can carry a tune.  It only requires a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  Jesus is the Song in our lives.  He is our Hope.  He is our Peace.  He is our Joy.  Jesus.  He is the Melody,  Jesus is the Author of harmony. Jesus.

A soul that sings.  How majestic it is.   The singing soul knows that in the midst of any difficulty the Great God is in control.  Consider the birds of the morning.  They burst into song by the prompting of God.  The Lord is the True Director.  At His command all of nature fills their place.
Along with the singing birds there comes the rising son.  Clouds are in their place.  By the direction of God they appear fluffy white or cast over with the dark shadow of threatening rain.

In the present age in which we find ourselves, the deer are more prevalent in appearing in neighbors.
Geese walk down neighborhood streets and fly away to safety at the order of the Lord.  Why? I believe that the animals are illustrating for us the power of Great God.  He has restored their hope. Some while once hidden in select places are declaring that they know God and are unafraid.

I pray that the grand scheme of nature will recapture the attention of us all.    I do not want the rocks to cry out for me.  I choose to be a singing soul.

Thus sings my soul!  Thank You Lord for another day.  Thank You Lord for Your protection and for Your provision.  Thank You for the chance to live another day.  Thank You for the joy in my heart and the peace that guards my mind even now.  Thank You Lord for being Great.  Thank You Lord for being Mighty.  Thank You Lord for being Faithful.  Even now my soul sings hallelujah.

The troubles of the times do not negate the power of God.  He is in control.  Always!  Let us sing in our very souls: O Lord! How Great Thou Art!

God bless!
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie

THANKFULLY

Philippians 1:3   “I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,” Wherever you are today, I thank God for you. Family, friends and all. I thank God. I praise God for allowing our lives to intersect in some way. May this day and every day be filled with gratitude. I pray that grace and peace abound.  Let mercy and grace be multiplied. Thankfully, the Lord God has brought us, from a mighty long way. God bless✨  In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

SHIFT KEY

1 Corinthians 13:12 “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.”  It all depends on how you look at it. What’s your focus? Is the picture clear or blurry? Do you need to crop the photo for a better view? A little shift in focus can be key.  Shifting the way you look at things can make a big difference.  I am looking at the shift key on my keyboard. I have options. Lower case or uppercase. Numerical or special characters. Failure to shift correctly can cause denied access because my password is not recognized. Shift is key. Some things can be better understood if we take the time to change our focus.  Zoom in on what really matters.  Stop looking at things that appear  insurmountable. Instead shift your focus. Look at God. The view is breathtaking when I look up. I see Jesus. He sees me. I am shifting my focus. Eyes lifted up. I see where my help comes from. My help comes from the Lord. The Lord who

Through the Eyes of Faith ...By Grace

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of work, lest anyone should boast.   - Ephesians 2:8-9  “Amazing grace shall always be my song of praise for it was grace that bought my liberty. I don’t know why He chose to love me so. He looked beyond my faults and saw my needs.”  So much has happened since the last time I “saw” you. The changing circumstances of the journey have been stabilized by an Unchanging God.   Journey on my sisters and brothers. Bask in the knowledge that unfailing mercy and sufficient grace surround you.   Grace makes new beginnings possible. We can begin again. The time is now. The choice? It’s yours. Yours for the asking.  Through the eyes of faith…we see Jesus.  God bless! In Christ,  Sis. Stephanie
