9 Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

We seek peace
It is peace we pursue
We hurry after it
We pray for it
We desire it in all that we do.
We seek peace
We seek the opportunity to understand
Why all the hatred
Hatred runs rampant in the land.
But we seek peace
On city streets, in homes, in hearts
We seek peace
Peace that God imparts
We seek peace
We cry unto Him as we know to do
We seek peace
Peace even after all we've been through
We seek peace
We follow mercy and peace
We seek peace 
We hunger for it 
Peace with each heart beat
We seek peace 
In place of the tears that now fall
We are pursuing it
We are embracing it
We hear the Lord's call
Blessed are peacemakers
We are children of God
We claim, declare and own it
We will have peace despite all the odds.
We seek peace...

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. The Journey Here

  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. - Psalms 23:4 The journey here...that is really something to think about.  Where we are in life as compared to where we had hoped to be.  Paths chosen while other were forgotten or neglected.  Decisions.  Times of indecisiveness. There were times we crawled. Too weary to walk.  We ran. We were too impatient to wait.   The journey.  Here.  That is really something to think about. For me the most difficult and sometimes debilitating aspect of the journey, has been walking through the valley of the shadow of death.  Tempted to fear due to memories of time I could have spent, conversations I should have had, hugs I wish I had given.  This type of fearful fretting is not of God.  I have learned; I am learning that if I truly believe, He is with me.  If I surely stand on His promi...
