Habakkuk 2 King James Version (KJV)
2 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.
2 And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
4 Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
My computer table is situated in front of a window. The view from my window is lovely. I can see the tall trees behind my garage. I see the fluffy green bushes and green grass in my yard. I hear the raindrops falling, "pitter pit, pitter pit." I hear crickets singing. This is the current view from my window. It is a calming view. It is a peaceful view, the view from my window.
There is another view. This one visionary. I see the Lord at work. Rain washing over souls. Cleansing. Thoughtful tribulation. Tribulation that makes you stop in your tracks and ponder. Washing. Terrific trials. Great magnitude and relentless in their delivery. Washed. Soaked. Rinsed. Final spin. God says "weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning."
The view from my window. A glorious view. Heavenly. That is where my sights are set. One day after enough spins in life's "dryer cycles." Low. Medium. High heat. Suddenly, "wrinkle free" I'll emerge. No more trials. Troubles will be over. Faith filled, this view from my window.
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
