A Heart That Forgives

Psalm 139:23-24

23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

A heart that forgives is Christ like.  In spite of the many atrocities Jesus suffered at the hands of others, He forgave.  We know of the intentional wounds that were inflicted on Christ leading up to and during the crucifixion.  Perhaps we are not always mindful of the "unintentional" wounds.  Indifference, apathy, obstinance.  But, praise God,Christ forgives.  Over and over mercy and grace are extended to us.

I pray today for a heart that forgives.  Only the Lord can enable such a heart.  He will grant this to those who ask.  A dear friend of mine told me about a song: A Heart that Forgives by Kevn Levar.  Beautiful words.  "I want a heart that forgives.  A heart full of love.  I want a heart that forgives one that overcomes evil with goodness and love."

Today Lord God grant us forgiving hearts.  Create in us clean hearts.  Renew our spirits.  Let us be overcomers through the power of Your Word.   Thank You, Lord, for forgiving us. Thank you for Your Most Holy and Righteous Self.  Your heart Lord, forgives.

God bless!

in Christ,

Sis. Stephanie

Adds Up…

2 Peter 1:5   “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;” One of my hobbies is making yarn wreaths.  The wreath frame symbolizing an unbroken circle and an eternal hope. Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
