HOPE IN GOD

 

Psalms 42:5

“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.”


Hope in God.

This hope is not wishful thinking.

Rather, it is clear expectation.

It is a strengthening trust.

It is well placed.

Faithful waiting.

Hope in God.


When your mind is boggled…

Hope in God.

When enemies pursue,

Hope in God 

When you don’t know which way to go

Hope in God 

Look for Him

Wait for Him

Expect Him 


No one can stop Him.

His plans cannot be thwarted 

His will cannot be overturned 


He is timely

His Word is true


Choose to reject hopelessness 

Live hopefully instead

Expect the miracle 

Believe God for the deliverance 


There is hope.


Hope in God.

I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
