Acknowledgement Brings Direction

"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
       - Proverbs 3:6

Dear Friends,

What's on your calendar for today, this week, this month?  Are you taking a trip to the grocery store? Big meeting at work? Job hunting? Interview?  Maybe you are shopping in preparation for the holiday cookout.  Are you getting ready for choir rehearsal, learning new music?

What is the point of all the questions? It is to bring clarification, to lift up and elaborate on "in all thy ways."  We have a choice in the matter. We can decide to acknowledge the Lord or not. We are reminded in Proverbs 3:6, however, that if we make the correct choice and are obedient to the Lord's instructions, He will direct us.

I have been in the middle of a mall parking lot and forgot where I parked the car. When I uttered a prayer "Lord please show me", seemingly, all at once, I was in the right aisle and there was my car!

I realize that acknowledgement brings direction.

When I misplace the car keys or forget that I put my glasses on top of my head and say "Lord where did I"... and then keys are located or my hand goes to the top of my head to pull off my glasses ...

I am reminded that acknowledgement brings direction.

"O send out thy light and thy truth: let them lead me;" - Psalms 43:3

Amen.

in Christ,

Sis. Stephanie

Adds Up…

2 Peter 1:5   “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;” One of my hobbies is making yarn wreaths.  The wreath frame symbolizing an unbroken circle and an eternal hope. Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
