Are You Available?

"Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:"  - Proverbs 3:9

Dear Friends,

Thank God here we are blessed with another Sunday, the beginning of another Work Strong.

How do we work strong?  How can we show ourselves strong in the face of opposition that may appear on our jobs, in our classrooms, homes or neighborhoods?   Proverbs 3:9 is instructive: "Honour the Lord."  How should we honour Him?  "Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase."

This week let us be diligent in giving him the firstfruits of all of our increase. Let us honour God with our finances.  Let us honour Him with our time.  Let us honour Him with our talent.

All that we need in order to accomplish our God given tasks is available to us.  The question is: are we available to God?

Dear Lord,  let us be available in all our ways and in all things to You.  In Jesus name we pray.  Amen.

in Christ,

Sis. Stephanie

Adds Up…

2 Peter 1:5   “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;” One of my hobbies is making yarn wreaths.  The wreath frame symbolizing an unbroken circle and an eternal hope. Help…My Help

Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. Constantly replenishing. Help. God is My Help. God bless. In Christ, Sis. Stephanie

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
