Carry On




"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord."
    - Isaiah 54:17

 Dear Friends,

 Sometimes it seems as though the troubles come faster than we can adjust.  Troubles appear in the home, in our communities, on our jobs.  It is not easy to get our bearings or keep our footing.  We wonder how we are going to manage.  

 It is at times like this that the Holy Spirit reminds us that He is our Present Help.  We are not alone in the battle.  He is with us as He promised.  The Holy Spirit, Our Guide, Our Comforter is always near.  

 The storms will rage.  Sometimes the winds will blow so hard that it will seems as if we will be swept away.  Yet, Our Anchor Jesus Christ whispers, "Hold On."  "Peace Be Still." Jesus the Captain! It is Jesus, He is in control.  No weapon formed against thee shall prosper.  Believe this.  It is true.
"...because she judged him faithful who had promised." - Hebrews 11:11 cf

Just a minute. Things happen. Situations change. Here one minute and gone the next.  So the saying goes. Moments. They mater. While we have time… Take a second. Press pause. Stop.  Consider. I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
