My Mother's Daughter

"Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised." - Proverbs 31:30

Dear Friends,

Today I would like to pray tribute to all of the "daughters."  As we approach Mother's Day I think about the days before I was a mother. I was and shall always be my mother's daughter.  The lessons I learned from my mother are invaluable. 

 I often said to my mother I hope that I will be able to do half as well raising my girls as you did raising "us."  My mother was a lady and she set an example for my sister and I to follow.  I remember my sister saying to me a few months before she passed, "Ma was good to us."

I praise God for the gift of each of my sisters in Christ.  I salute you today. 


 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. - Proverbs 31:29
