You're Never Forsaken!

Hebrews 13:5-6 King James Version (KJV) 5  Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Dear Friends, No need to worry about it.    Whatever IT IS.   God's got you.  Do not stress.  The Lord can h andle it. You're never forsaken Is someone ignoring your texts Not returning your phone calls Still wondering about the job application Looking for the check in the mail Remember God is faithful You're never forsaken Let your conversation Be without covetousness Be content With such things as ye have You're never forsaken For THE LORD hath said I will never leave thee, nor forsake  thee. The Word of God declares:  You're NEVER forsaken .   in Christ, Sis. Stephanie

Brothers and Sisters

"Verily I say unto you, There is no man hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, mother, wife, or children , or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,  But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses and brethren and sisters , and mothers and children, and lands with persecutions; and.       in the world to come eternal life, But many that are first will be last; and the last first."       - St. Mark 10:29-31       Today's blog is dedicated to the memory of my sister   Gretchen Renee Williams  January 30, 1961 - November 12, 2015                                            Dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters... Some children grow up as an only child while others grow up with siblings, brothers/sisters.  I did not grow up as an only child.  My parents had four children, two boys and two girls.  When I reflect on our childhood years, there were a few note worthy squabbles.  However, the memory that rises above all others is that we l

Pray. Prayed. Praying.

" He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer." - Psalms 102:17 Destitute - synonyms: poor, impoverished, more needy, distressed Dear Friends, Pray. Prayed. Praying.   God does hear and answer prayer. Many can attest to answered prayer. Yet, our certainty that He hears and answers is because The Word of God declares it.  God does not lie. As the Holy Spirit led me to Psalms 102:17 I was in awe of the magnitude of of the word destitute. Destitution is a state we can all find ourselves in. Lack of material wealth, economically disadvantaged is of course a kind of destitution.  However, to be emotionally impoverished, distressed by the cares of life can cause devastation that many people including Christians struggle with. The solution is to pray. The comfort is knowing you have prayed. You can rest secure having cast your concerns and anxieties upon Jesus Christ.  The deliverance is manifest when you keep on praying .

Rise! Shine! Give God the Glory!

Ephesians 5:13-16 King James Version (KJV) 13  But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14  Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Dear Friends,  " Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the  Lord  is risen upon thee.   For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the  Lord  shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee."        - Isaiah 60:1-2 The time is now Today is the day Tomorrow is not promised Rise Shine Give God the glory Now Today Is the time To Rise To Shine To Give God the glory This moment Presently Rise  Shine GIVE GOD THE GLORY. "Let   your   light   so   shine  before me

Prepared for the Struggle and Positioned for Victory

Ephesians 6:12-13 King James Version (KJV) 12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Dear Friends, It's not our imagination. The struggles we face are real. Unfortunately, sometimes in the midst of our struggles we lash out at others viewing them as the enemy. As a result we may find ourselves isolated and sad. It is important to acknowledge the reality of struggles as well as the source. In Ephesians 6 we are told about "wrestling against..." This is struggling.   The enemy is the cause of our struggles/wrestling.  Knowing this it is imperative that we are ever mindful that there is One who knows about the struggles and has empowered us to overcome through His Holy Spirit.

Jesus Our Personal Savior

Isaiah 53:4-6 King James Version (KJV) 4  Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. 5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. 6  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the  Lord  hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Dear Friends, Personally.  It can be so encouraging when someone takes the time to reach out to us  with a call, letter, text or email. It can boost our day, encourage our spirits for us to know that someone had us "especially" on their mind. Jesus Our Personal Savior has: borne our grief carried our sorrows Jesus Our Personal Savior was Wounded for our transgressions Bruised for our iniquities He paid the ransom for our peace, our reconciliation with God. By the stripes of Jesus Our Perso

Do You Know Him? He Is Jesus Christ The Lord!

1 John 2:1-7 King James Version (KJV) 2  My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2  And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. 3  And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. 4  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 6  He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. 7  Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning. Dear Friends, Do you know Him? Jesus Do you know Him? He is the  propitiation for our sins Do you know Him?

Take Him At His Word

Proverbs 30:4-6 King James Version (KJV) 4  Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell? 5  Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6  Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. Dear Friends, "I give you my Word."  This Word, the Truth made alive in the person of Jesus Christ is a precious gift.   " And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.   John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.   And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.   For the law was gi

Psalm 106:47-48 King James Version (KJV) 47  Save us, O  Lord  our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto thy holy name, and to triumph in thy praise. 48  Blessed be the  Lord  God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise ye the  Lord . Dear Friends, Give thanks unto the Lord for: His grace His mercy His goodness His kindness His love His compassion Give thanks unto the Lord for: His protection His guidance His patience His faithfulness His holiness His Son, Our Savior, Jesus Christ Psalm 75:1 King James Version (KJV) 75  Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare. Psalm 97:11-12 King James Version (KJV) 11  Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. 12  Rejoice in the  Lord , ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
