Dear Friend,
What does it mean to lay aside every weight? Weights can in various sizes. The most difficult "weights to release" are those we carry as enablers for others.
There is a space in each life, each heart that only the Lord can fill. It is often necessary to move ourselves out of the way, to let go so that God can have His way.

To let go does not mean to stop caring,
it means I can't do it for someone else.

it's the realization I can't control another.

To let go is not to criticize or regulate anybody,
but to try to become what I dream I can be.
To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.

Letting go is to put everything in God's hands trusting that He is able to lead and guide our lives and the lives of those we love.
Lord, today I pray for those who are looking for the strength to let go. I pray that they will be able to release their cares and concerns to you through prayer.

There is peace, sweet release in letting go and letting God have His way.
