Romans 12:20-21King James Version (KJV)
20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Dear Friends,
The scriptures tell let in Romans that "all things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose."
All means all. In times when we are struggling to find our way and trouble seems to surround us, there is a place where sun still shines. In Christ there is light. In Him there is no darkness. The Son always shines.
Be reminded that the Lord is faithful with all that we have committed to Him. Hold fast to His promise that He will never leave us or forsake us.
Hope in Jesus Christ is the anchor for our souls.
I will not be overcome of evil. In Jesus Christ we are strong. We can determine to overcome evil with good.
Let this be our declaration: "Lord, I will trust you in the dark."
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
