Job 19:23-24King James Version (KJV)
23 Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
24 That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
Dear Friends,
Everyone has a story to tell. Psalm 90:9b tells us: "we spend our years as a tale that is told."
As Job was going through his great trials, he did not know that the request he made in chapter 19 would come to fruition. But God purposed that the Book of Job would included in the scriptures. His story is recorded in not just any book but in the Word of God. The account of Job's life has as it were been "graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!"
Sisters and brothers our lives and the outcome of our existence as Christians has been engraved on the palms of the hands of Our Savior. Our story is His Story. History is Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.
Romans 10:8-11King James Version (KJV)
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
"This is my story. This is my song. Praising my Savior all the day long."
in Christ,
Sis. Stephanie
