All Praise and Honor Belongs to God




Be thou exalted, Lord, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power.
   - Psalm 21:3

 Dear Friends,

 My grandmother often told me, "start out like you plan to keep up."   Translated that means be yourself from the beginning so you won't need to switch up somewhere along the way.

 God is strong.  He is to be exalted in His own strength. The power of the Lord is not up for debate.  He is worthy of honor, all praise and glory. We exalt him through worship.  We sing of His praise and power.  This we do not to convince others or ourselves.  We do this because He is Worthy.  We praise and honor God because He affords us the privilege to do so.  

 We are not doing God a favor for He can and is exalted in His His own strength. However, through His Holy Spirit we witness and acknowledge Him as God alone. We bear witness to His Awesome Glory and Power.

 What a Mighty God we serve. All praise and all honor belongs to God.

Just a minute. Things happen. Situations change. Here one minute and gone the next.  So the saying goes. Moments. They mater. While we have time… Take a second. Press pause. Stop.  Consider. I’ll Go With You

  Isaiah 41:10   “Fear thou not; for I  am  with thee: be not dismayed; for I  am  thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” “Jesus said if you go I’ll go with you.” Butterflies in my stomach  A racing heart  I do not want to attend the meeting  I wish I could cancel the appointment  I don’t want to talk about it Over “it” I don’t think I can do this  BUT GOD He reminds me that of course, I cannot accomplish even the most mundane tasks on my own  He assures me day by day that He is with me  He builds me up He orders my steps  He speaks peace to my soul  He renews my heart  Do not be afraid  You belong to Me I’ve got you I am holding you in My mighty hands  Go!
