Ephesians 6:12-13King James Version (KJV)
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Dear Friends,
It's not our imagination. The struggles we face are real. Unfortunately, sometimes in the midst of our struggles we lash out at others viewing them as the enemy. As a result we may find ourselves isolated and sad.
It is important to acknowledge the reality of struggles as well as the source. In Ephesians 6 we are told about "wrestling against..." This is struggling. The enemy is the cause of our struggles/wrestling.
Knowing this it is imperative that we are ever mindful that there is One who knows about the struggles and has empowered us to overcome through His Holy Spirit. There is victory in Jesus!
It is being dressed up in His righteousness, clothed in the armor that keeps us prepared to overcome.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

The Lord has provided us with the instructions that we need to ensure that we are prepared for the struggle and positioned for victory.
"Jesus knows all about our struggles, He will guide till the day is done. There's not a Friend like the lowly Jesus, no not one. No not one."
