I'm Glad About It



"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might." - Deuteronomy 6:4-5


Dear Friends,

 Here we are at the beginning of another Work Strong!  I'm glad about it.
When I look over my work schedule for this week it is full.  Wondering sometime about how all the paperwork will get done in midst of the meetings.  I wonder..but I don't worry.  Hear me! "The Lord our God is one Lord..."  I do not worry because I know that the Same God who has seen me through countless day of overload, through sleepless nights, and through hand wringing exercises is with me today.  The hymn writer penned:  "I love the Lord He heard my cry and pitied every groan."

 I am glad to share my love for the Lord.  I eagerly await new opportunities to share my faith.  Another week, "another day to "live and serve" is what my husband often says in his prayers.  

 We used to sing a song in the choir many years ago:

 Oh! Aren't you glad that you know the Lord? Oh! Aren't you glad that you know the Lord? He's such a wonderful friend, saved me from sin.  Oh! Aren't you glad that you know the Lord?"

 Yes!  I'm glad about it!

  Psalms 46:1   “God  is our  refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Help.  God is my Help. Always present…in trouble and in triumph.  Help. God is my Help.  I lift up my eyes knowing my help comes from the Lord.  All my help.  Every need supplied. He is My Support. He is The Solution. My Benefactor. Ever providing. Always nourishing. THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus. Honestly. This is a fact. Scripture declares Him to be. The Way, the Truth, the Life. His ways are holy and just. His Word is pure. He is altogether lovely. Focusing on the whatsoever things is to abide in the peace of God. Thoughts centered on bountiful blessings. Determined to dwell on the goodness of God rather than the constant chaos perpetrated by the enemy of our souls. The What is also the Who.  He is the King of Kings. He is the Lord of Lords. Matchless in power and might. He is the Faithful and True. He holds the balance in His Hands. God weighs the intent of the heart. True Hones...
