Sometimes you have to talk to yourself. The enemy will attack when you least expect. These attacks can happen anywhere. You can be in the kitchen, at the mall, asleep, typing a blog. In case you're wondering... I remember a song asked these words "how I keep going, how I stay strong?"
Well, sometimes, I repeat, you have to talk to yourself. And you don't talk about any old thing. Speak to yourself in Psalms: "Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me bless His Holy Name." Speak to yourself in hymns: "I love the Lord, He heard my cry and pitied every groan, long as I live while trouble rise I'll hasten to His throne. Speak to yourself in spiritual songs : "Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I'm found. Was blind but now I see.
Are you feeling better? Just a little? Well keep speaking. "I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised." Psalms. "A charge to keep I have a God to glorify, a never dying soul to save and fit it for the sky." Hymn. "Jesus, Master, Savior, let all heaven and earth proclaim. Kings and kingdoms shall all pass away but there is something about that name. Spiritual song.
You feel your help coming on. Keep talking to yourself! "The Lord is my Light and my salvation." Psalms. I heard the voice of Jesus say come unto me and rest. Lie down thy weary one lie down thy head upon my breast. Hymn. "Every praise is to Our God every word of worship on one accord. Every praise is to Our God." Spiritual song.
