Patiently Waiting




"I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord."
    - Psalms 40:1-3 

Dear Friends,

A dear Christian sister sent me a youtube link of Shirley Caesar singing a song entitled Patiently Waiting.  I encourage everyone to listen to the song.  Even if you have heard it before revisit it and meditate on the words.  

Psalms 40:1-3 is where the Lord led me to focus on again today.The Psalmist patiently waited on God and God answered. 

He listed to the petition; He heard the sincere need; He provided a sanctuary, a refuge from the trouble; He brought peace in the midst of confusion; He set a new course of action; He brought joy in the midst of sorrow; He replaced mourning with a song; He turned a test into a testimony.

Keep on patiently waiting on God.  Just as He did for the Psalmist, He will do for you and I.  There is no problem that God cannot provide the solution for.

I am, I will, keep patiently waiting on God.

THE WHAT AND THE SOEVER

  Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things  are honest , whatsoever things  are  just, whatsoever things  are  pure, whatsoever things  are  lovely, whatsoever things  are  of good report; if  there be  any virtue, and if  there be  any praise, think on these things.” The truth is Jesus.
